Our technician inspects your old appliance and gives you a fair trade-in value based on its age, brand and working condition.
Choose Your Replacement
Browse our quality tested stock and select your replacement. The trade-in value is applied as a discount. Every replacement comes with a 3-month warranty.
Delivery and Removal
We deliver your replacement across Canberra and collect your old appliance at the same time. No trips to the tip. No heavy lifting for you.
Appliances We Take in Trade
We accept trade-ins on the appliances we specialise in. All brands and most ages considered.
Fridges
Single door, double door, bar fridges. All brands including Samsung, LG, Fisher and Paykel, Westinghouse, Kelvinator and more.
Washing Machines
Front load and top load washing machines. All brands considered including Samsung, LG, Bosch, Electrolux, Simpson and more.
Dryers
Vented and condenser dryers. Any brand in working or repairable condition. Including Fisher and Paykel, Samsung, LG, Electrolux and more.
Freezers
Chest and upright freezers. All sizes and brands considered. Good for freeing up space when upgrading or downsizing.
Not sure if your old appliance is worth anything? Even if we cannot offer trade-in value, we can still take your old appliance away for free when we deliver your replacement. Yes. Appliance King accepts fridge trade-ins when you are purchasing a replacement from us. Bring your old fridge to 15 Gladstone Street, Fyshwick or call 0402 373 016 first to discuss its condition and get an estimate of trade-in value before making the trip.
Non-working appliances may still be accepted at a reduced trade-in value, depending on the fault and the model. Call us on 0402 373 016 to describe the problem and we will let you know whether it makes sense to bring it in.
We consider all major brands for trade-in, including Samsung, LG, Fisher and Paykel, Bosch, Electrolux, Westinghouse, Simpson, Haier, Kelvinator, Whirlpool and others. The trade-in value depends more on age and condition than the brand.
Yes. Our trade-in program is available when you purchase a replacement appliance from our Fyshwick store. The trade-in value is applied as a discount toward your purchase.
Yes. Every appliance we sell, including replacements through the trade-in program, comes with a 3-month warranty as standard. All replacements also go through our 6-point technician inspection before sale.
Yes. We offer delivery across Canberra and can collect your old appliance at the same time. This means you do not need to organise separate disposal. Let us know when you book and we will arrange both together.
